alredy after midnight here.. around 3am in Poland ..;PP

everyone goes there.. and it is sooo white...

The Christmas in Brasil is completely different than in Poland...
maybe because of the fact that the climate is different and it is hot here.. and it was strange for me not to freeze, but go to sunbath on the beach....

about the Natal .. Christmas Eve ...
people meet in someone's house , but it is more like celebrating birthday ...
people listen to music... and it is not christmas music .. but normal..
drinking and eating aperitivos ....
and then when everyone is already and a bit of time passed .. people eat ...and the food is different... there is no trdition of 12 dishes.. there is normal dinner..more "celebrating sstyle'
we ate rice , turkey , other kinds of meet , codfish ( delicious !!!!) and then dessert ....ice creams, cakes.... niceeeee.... and soo good ..
then people talk , give presents to each other and around midnight - people leave...
there is nothing about all of these tradition we have in Poland...
and sometimes they celebrate aswell on 25th of December but not as we in Poland for 2 more days...

about New Years Eve..
most of the people spend New Years Eve on the beach..
wear white clothes.. threw away flowers to ocean..
make fireplace and leave food for the souls on the beach...
jump 3 waves after midnight for good luck..
dance and drink champagne on the beach.. it is the only alcohol which is allowed to take to the beach during thiat night...
this new years eve was soooo different, but it was also so niceeeee....
as I had a veryyyy good company as you can see on the pictures... ;)

LAZY PERFECT TIME IN RIO ....

the lazy days in Rio de Janeiro are perfect....
especially if the weather is nice and you can observe the city from the seaside....
swim in the ocean in the far away from the bank....
it was perfect day with family of Bruna....
we all have a nice time together..
and the sun is so stong when you r on the motorboat....
it was realle really extremely nice.....
swimming, talking sunbathing, feeling the salty water and the wind in hair... and drive fast .....
perfect.... better than perfect...

Before I got to Rio de Janeiro - I thought that Rio - it is one big favela...
The reality is kinda different
The fact is that I used to travel and visit the places which are more ruch and less dangerous.. the seaside.. but the city is really really nice..
it has everything: mountains, lakes, sea and beaches in the same place.....
Beaches are really nice.. and it was soooo unbeliavable to be on the Copacabana and Ipanema.. - the most famous beaches, the names I used to hear or read only in newspapers...
Pao de Acucar, Christo Redentor, Lagoa - with beautiful Christmass tree in the middle, a lot of mountains, beautiful park national de Tijuca.... - there are places I got to know...
and going out to sunbath and swim in the ocean..
Bruna - my friend from Lisbon lives 5 minutes away from the beach ( walking !!!) so I have felt like passing holidays in hotel...
and it was so nice to walk and sightseeing with her and her family, passing Christmas there, time which is difficult to spend abroad for me.. but i have felt as at home....
RIo de Janeiro - cidade maravilhoso.. but very very hot....
for example it was 40 degrees in the day we went to Pao de Acucar.. crazy !!!!
I have spent here- in Rio 2 weeks and it was perfect time... hope I will have possibility to come back here ...
