big city life = 2 days in Sao Paulo !!!

After working 2 days in Campinas I went to Sao PAulo for 2 days ( Thursday, Friday)
On Thursday we ( I , Adriana, Andrea - from NAPRA) had 2 "business meetings" - one with the commercials' agency - exactly with executive producer, concerning the movie about NAPRA for our NGO's website. It was really niceeee to meet the professionalist and speak with him. His agency has done commercials for Unilever, NOKIA in Brasil.
Second meeting we had with professional fundraiser, with who we discussed the " sponsorship offer " which I prepared.
After these 2 meetings we were free!!!

So we ( me and Dri ) decided to stay for Friday in Sao PAulo ( Sampa) to seightseeing a bit. Thursday afternoon we walked in the neighbourhood, and in the evening we stayed in our friend's ( Joao) place. He is in NAPRA also but works in Sao PAulo. Calm evening with brasilian music, wine and pizza - was perfect !!!!
and I slept first night since I am in Brasil in "my room" ;)))
On Friday - since the morning til the evening we were sightseeing with Dri ;)
First - Rua 25 de Marco - great place for shopping ( a lot of stolen things aswell), very crowded place. You can buy earings for 50 centavos ( 80 groszy !!!) but when the word - "policia" appears many people "are closing their business, stands" and disappear. Still, there are a lot of shops with shoes, with earings ect.
We did really nice shopping there.
Then we went to Mercado Municipal - place where are stands with fresh fruits, cheeses, spices, meat, fishes - really really nice place ;)) and oranges with leaves ;))) unusual in Poland ;)
afterwards - again shopping - but it shouldn't surprise you - we were in paradise , especially paradise for girls.
Ok - when we were done with shopping , we decided that it would be nice to see some more places. So we went to the high bulding of one of the bank.
You can go there and go by lift to the top of the building to see great view on Sao PAulo. The beautiful chandelier, which u can see on one of the pics is in this building. And the view you can see - is from the top .
In fact ) when I saw it - I was shocked !!! really !!!!!
Sao Paulo - 17 mln people living in the city and in the neighbourhood, view from the building with the range of 40 km every single side , and what ???? just buldings , ccity doesnt finish - my horizon finished still with buildings !!! impossible !!!!
I could say - Sao Paulo is the jungle of the buildings !!!
Pictures show it, but the impression in real is much more strong !!!!

after watching this view - we went to the cathedra - and we walked to the biggest avenue in Sao Paulo - most famous with the headquaters of the big companies - Avenida Paulista. Of course - on the way - as we decided to walk - although it was far away we stopped for ice creams ( picole beijo - maracuja) it always refreshes and saves our lifes ;)))
and after this trip - (we made around 8-10 km in big big sun, with 30 dregrees) we came back Joao's home, and after he finished work we traveled together to Sao Carlos ;)
and in fact I was happy I am coming back to my small city from this jungle ;)))
ahhh- and to make the time passing faster we were playing polish game - "pomidor" ( tomato) funny - I memorized my kindergarder times ;)))
